ljtalk and meebo
This ljtalk thing is very shiny, but what if I don't have a Jabber client handy? Well, meebo.com comes to the rescue. It's a Jabber client on a web page. Shiny!

Shiny indeed. I'm torn between ljtalk and google chat. I live by LJ (for my sins) so my friends list works well as a buddy list, however the google chat logs being accessilbe and searchable through gmail - that does kinda rock my world.

We're going to try and make all the LJ integration (including roster) also work w/ other Jabber IDs, including GMail.

Does it work from the google talk web client?

If you have a web browser handy, you can just use livejournal.com!
